Guidelines Documents

The Southern California Regional Guidelines document explains the regional service structure for Southern California. The guidelines were adopted by the Region in August 2005, initially revised in May 2011, and finally revised in January 2015.

The Nar-Anon Family Groups' Guide to Local Services (GLS) is an important document for Nar-Anon members in service to the fellowship. All groups are strongly urged to have a copy of the GLS available at meetings. Group Service Representatives are responsible for becoming familiar with the GLS.

The Nar-Anon Family Groups' Guide to World Services (GWS) is the document that provides information, explanations, and descriptions of the Nar-Anon Family Groups world services structure and system. Members of Nar-Anon who volunteer (or who are interested in volunteering) to be trusted servants at the world service level will find this guide an invaluable tool for giving back to the program for the peace and serenity they have received.

Forms Documents

GSR Registration Form is necessary for each Group Service Representative and Alternate Group Service Representative to complete in order to be a voting member of the Regional Assembly. Every GSR and Alternate GSR must re-register at the first Assembly of the new year in order to maintain status as a voting member. You may open this PDF, fill it out, and then print, sign and bring to the Regional Assembly.

GSR Substitution Form may be used to appoint a substitute GSR (or an Alternate GSR) to represent your group meeting in case your regularly appointed trusted servant cannot make it to the Regional Assembly.

Nar-Anon Literature Order Form may downloaded, printed, and filled out. You may send the completed form into the World Service Office or you may bring it with you to any Regional Assembly to have your order fulfilled on the spot.

Reimbursement Request Form may be used to reimburse your out-of-pocket expenses for Southern California regional events. There must have been a motion to approve the expenses at a previous Regional Assembly.

Speaker Authorization Form was adopted at the January 11, 2014 Regional Assembly. It is approved to be used by any group, area or the region as a release form when recording speaker meetings.

Regional Assembly Sign-In Sheet is printed out on the day of each Regional Assembly.  It is then made available so that every attendee can sign in as present at the Assembly.
